What is an Integration?

How Does It Work in Our System?

• Connect the Tools: Like connecting a speaker to your phone, an integration connects our system with another tool or software. For example, our software might connect with a client’s calendar system.
• Share Information: Once connected, the tools share information automatically. So if a client books an appointment in their calendar, our system can see it and update the records without anyone doing it manually.

Why is it Important?

• Saves Time: It saves us from entering data in two places. The information flows between the systems automatically, reducing errors and saving time.
• Keeps Things in Sync: Both systems stay updated with the latest information, so everyone is on the same page.

What Happens if We Don’t Integrate?

• Manual Connection: If the systems don’t integrate, it means they can’t automatically share information. Instead, we’ll need to find another way to connect them or get the information from one place to another.

Using a QR Code as an Alternative:

Using Zapier as a Connector:

• Basic Idea: Zapier is like a middleman that helps different tools work together even if they don’t have direct integration. Think of it as a translator that helps two people who speak different languages understand each other.
• How It Works: Zapier allows us to set up automated workflows, called “Zaps.” For example, if a client uses a system that doesn’t directly integrate with ours, we can use Zapier to automatically send information between the two systems. This might involve creating a Zap that sends data from the client’s tool to our system whenever a specific action happens, like a new appointment being booked.
